Upon the announcement that the Eye of the World would be adapted into comics by Dabel Brothers, this artwork was the first sneak peak for the comics. The left promotional art depicts Lews Therin Telamon, the Dragon, wielding Callandor whilst the right artwork shows Rand al'Thor, the Dragon Reborn, wielding the same weapon. Behind both men are the 13 Forsaken, in past and present forms.
All artwork credit goes to Mike S. Miller and Teodoro Gonzalez. Characters and concepts belong to Robert Jordan.
Basically they're mirror images; the left hand art is a flipped version of the right hand one, except with characters from a different timeline.
So, from the artwork with Rand we have:
- Ishamael (glowing eyes and mouth, and hooded cloak) - Sammael (Blonde, stocky man) - Graendal (honey coloured hair) - Balthamel (smoking man wearing a mask with a huge grin) - Be'lal (white haired, with moustache. Kinda looks like a Thom Merrilin ) - Mesaana (chin length hair and blue eyes) - Asmodean (guy with the weird hair and wearing blue) - Demandred (the good-lookin' one with dark hair and standing right behind Rand) - Lanfear (back row, dark curls and wearing signature white dress) - Rahvin (dark skinned man with a bit of white in his dark hair) - Semirhage (dark skinned woman in black dress) - Moghedien (behind Rahvin, with short brown hair) - Aginor (at the back next to Lanfear, wearing green and looking like he came from the grave).
